James Pearce joined TelecomTV as Editor in January 2026, marking a return to telecom journalism after he thought he'd escaped! Originally from Newcastle, England, James covered the industry for almost a decade in stints with Mobile News and Capacity Media/Global Telecoms Business, before dipping out to write about broadcast and enterprise tech at IBC and Techinformed, the latter of which he founded. He is based in London and is a big fan of the theatre and that other tragedy, Newcastle United.
