Joanne’s UCL partners organisation is an academic health science partnership and its remit is to support around 6.2 million patients in London and adjacent counties. And she’s also involved with DigitalHealth.London which trying to be a “front door” to innovators in the digital health area who have interesting ideas that they want to apply. DigitalHealth.London is there to promote a joined up approach to applying new technologies and techniques. It also helps innovators navigate tricky waters and access funding. “We try not to solve everyone’s problem,” says Joanne. “We try to understand the problem and understand the demand.”
