Mac Avencina, Chief Information Officer, Kern County
Kern County is one of the largest counties in California and home to almost a million residents. It has 41 different departments which were operating independently and now use HPE GreenLake to centralize their IT infrastructure. Kern County was also greatly impacted by Covid-19 and a significant percentage of its workforce shifted to a work-from-home model; Mac explains how his team adapted to this growth and discusses how he sees HPE GreenLake fitting into his future strategic plans.
