Hrvatski Telekom unveils AI-first transformation, powered by Beyond Now

Zagreb, Croatia and Dublin, Ireland – Beyond Now, a fast-growing AI-first ecosystem orchestration and digital platform provider, today announced the next phase of its work with Hrvatski Telekom, Croatia’s leading communications services provider and part of Deutsche Telekom Group, as the operator advances its AI-first strategy to simplify B2B customer journeys, accelerate service delivery and bring new AI-enabled capabilities to market.

The next stage of the partnership will see Hrvatski Telekom activate AI across three dimensions:

  • Bringing AI-powered services and products to B2B customers in Croatia including AI based personal assistance to support customers’ needs based on Beyond Now’s Wave AI
  • Embedding AI and agentic AI into their BSS, commerce, and sales processes, to accelerate speed to market, resolve customer requests in real time, and reduce operational friction
  • Driving AI adoption across internal tools and workflows to reduce complexity and support faster, more responsive operations

Beyond Now is working with Hrvatski Telekom to adopt its agentic AI capabilities into their operations in practical, phased approach, prioritizing use cases based on outcomes. This includes agentic AI capabilities that streamline sales operations and enterprise bulk ordering, enable dynamic user interfaces, and support the autonomous resolution of customer requests across the lifecycle, including upgrades, discounts, and enterprise service changes.

The approach reflects Hrvatski Telekom’s pragmatic view of AI adoption. Rather than deploying AI for its own sake, the operator is integrating AI into business processes, commercial systems and customer journeys where it can deliver customer experience improvements, reduce operational complexity and support new revenue opportunities.

The expanded collaboration positions Hrvatski Telekom as a strong example of practical AI adoption in European telecoms, demonstrating how communications services providers (CSPs) can move from digital transformation toward AI-enabled business growth, while keeping customer value at the center.

This latest phase builds on Hrvatski Telekom’s 2023 B2B digital transformation with Beyond Now, which modernized its BSS environment and created a fully digital commerce experience for B2B customers. Through Beyond Now BSS Plus, Hrvatski Telekom digitized and automated its buying, ordering and monetization processes, enabling customers to order complete solutions online in minutes, reducing time to order by 57% and accelerating new product launches from six to nine months to a significantly shorter timeframe.

Angus Ward, CEO, Beyond Now, said:
“Hrvatski Telekom is a strong example of a CSP that built the digital foundation first and is now using that foundation to make AI practical. That is exactly where we see the industry heading. AI will only create value for operators if it can be embedded into real business processes, customer journeys and monetization models. Our role is to provide the platform layer that helps operators turn AI ambition into services they can launch, sell and scale.”

Ivana Beli Oštarčević, director of B2B Portfolio Development and Management Sector, Hrvatski Telekom, added “This next phase in our partnership with Beyond Now is about applying AI where it can make the greatest difference for our customers and our business. For our customers that means simpler journeys, faster service delivery and greater access to a broader set of digital and AI-enabled capabilities. For our own business, it means strengthening the way we support our teams, bringing new services to market and creating new opportunities for growth. Together with Beyond Now, we are showing how AI adoption in telecoms can be practical, strategic and commercially relevant.”

Beyond Now is working with operators globally to help them operationalize AI across increasingly complex telecom environments. Its AI-powered platform supports digital commerce, BSS, marketplace enablement, partner orchestration and monetization, helping CSPs launch and scale new services across customer and partner ecosystems.
