Klaus Martiny, Senior Program Manager, Deutsche Telekom & Chair, ETSI ZSM ISG

Klaus Martiny believes that one of the best and most useful things vendors could do really to help the move to carrier automation would be to focus more intently on breaking down the barriers between different domains. He admits that some vendors are doing exactly that but stresses that others are not. He thinks they all should all be, not only because they claim to want to help carriers and CSPs to get through the whole lengthy, complex and expensive transformation process but also because transformation, zero touch and carrier automation are throwing up an array of business opportunities that all vendors should be determined to grasp.
