With so much unlicensed bandwidth remaining unused for large parts of the day, it makes sense to offer this capacity to cellular operators on an as-needed basis, which is the approach being taken by BandwidthX. With the addition of some software to network devices, service providers can create tradable markets for their bandwidth.
