Is Automation proving more difficult to accomplish than the industry first hoped? Whilst it is agreed that it is vital to automate service provisioning and dramatically reduce deployment times, what is the reality today? Verizon has established test centres to help its customers and potential customers try out solutions and create trial scenarios, easing through the process. Yet with Zero Touch provisioning looking more difficult than we might have thought, there is still a lot of work to be done to create a self-service adaptive network utopia.
