Domenico Convertino, Head of OSS/BSS, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is launching a new machine learning-based OSS solution: HPE Intelligent Assurance. The company began work on the solution three years ago having realised the time was ripe to lead the way to the provision of zero-touch operations. Intelligent automation is central to the concept of real zero touch network management and zero touch is a guaranteed route to capex and opex savings which boost a telco's bottom line. Very well aware of the reality that few, in any, CSPs would ever rip our from their infrastructure tried, trusted and Open Source big data platforms, the HPE solution works perfectly with existing data infrastructure and storage regimes. Indeed, even as the Intelligent Assurance solution is hard at work in the depths, but there's hardly a ripple to mar the limpid surface of a telco's data lake.
