Management changes in Telia Company´s Baltic operations

Dan Strömberg, currently CEO of Telia Estonia, has been appointed CEO of Telia Lithuania and will replace Kestutis Sliuzas who will leave the company. Robert Pajos has been appointed interim CEO of Telia Estonia.

“Telia Estonia has been in very good hands delivering strong business results and taking broader sustainable leadership in the local society which we value very highly,” says Emil Nilsson, Head of Cluster Lithuania, Estonia and Denmark and Senior Vice President, Telia Company. “I would like to thank Dan for his excellent contribution and I’m really looking forward to having him as CEO of our Lithuanian operations.”

Dan Strömberg has worked for Telia Company for the last 25 years and has headed Telia Estonia since 2016. Before that he led Omnitel in Lithuania and Telia Company’s broadband business in Denmark. He today assumes the position as CEO of Telia Lithuania where he replaces Kestutis Sliuzas.

“Kestutis Sliuzas has done a great job during the last five years where he headed the merger and integration of our Lithuanian operations and the rebranding into Telia Lithuania. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” says Emil Nilsson.

I really like the country and believe our operations here have huge potential when it comes to digitalization, converged customer offerings, and technological innovation to make our customers´ lives simpler and more comfortable,” says Dan Strömberg.

Robert Pajos, has been appointed interim CEO of Telia Estonia. Pajos holds a Master degree in Computer Science and has held several executive positions within the Ericsson group such as Head of Network Services – Latin America , Head of Engagement Practices – Latin America and Key account manager for the AT&T, Cingular & Bell South accounts.
