OSP TV Special Feature

The OPNFV Verification Program (OVP) is a compliance and verification program created within Linux Foundation Networking to address the deployment and interoperability challenges that operators are encountering as they engage in more real world NFV deployments. The vision is to create an end-to-end framework with a comprehensive certification program that includes aspects such as validation performance as well as compliance. The goals are to help operators to introduce commercial services faster because the VNFs are arriving pre-qualified; to reduce the cost of lab-based testing; and to de-risk their engagement with a wider number of VNF vendors.

Featuring:

  • Heather Kirksey, VP Community & Ecosystem Development, The Linux Foundation
  • Eric Debeau, Head of Network Automation Team Platform, Orange
  • Rabi Abdel, Network Virtualization and SDN/NFV Lead Architect, Vodafone Group
  • Lincoln Lavoie, Senior Engineer, Broadband Technologies, UNH-IOL

Filmed at: ONS North America 2019, San Jose
