Lingli Deng, Senior Project Manager, China Mobile

Despite the early success of the ONAP project, there are telcos who are still critical about the stability, usability and production-readiness of the ONAP code base. China Mobile is a big supporter of ONAP, and project Vice Chair Lingli Deng explains what still needs to be done to make ONAP production ready, and how the Beijing release is being expanded and improved for the next Casablanca release. She also discusses China Mobile’s Novonet project, which is driving SDN and NFV strategy for the telco and which she has been working on the evaluation and introduction of data plane acceleration technology.
