Klaus Martiny, Chair, ETSI ZSM ISG

How can the Open Source community and Standards Development Organisations work better to ensure alignment and avoid fragmentation? Klaus Martiny is the Chair of the ETSI ZSM group, looking at the service management of zero-touch automation. He has been calling for coordination between standards and open source, to enable a generic network automation platform to be viable. But between all the standards and open source work, are we sufficiently advanced to create an automation platform that can support multiple commercial use cases for global operators? What still needs to be done?
