Driven by a keen interest on how technology can be applied to address real-world problems, and a with background very firmly in the Service Provider community, Paul Adams now leads part of the Strategic Marketing team at Alcatel-Lucent. Having started his career at Cable and Wireless, Paul then joined Colt in its very early years. Subsequently at Newbridge Networks, and post-acquisition with Alcatel, Paul helped Service Providers across EMEA develop, launch and market innovative services using data networking technologies, and latterly ran channel marketing in North America. Paul then spent several years as an independent marketing consultant to the ICT industry, before heading up EMEA marketing for the IP division of Ericsson. Paul finally returned to Alcatel-Lucent in 2009, where he has held a number of roles including as Marketing Director for the BT Global Account.
