Telecom TV is promoting and supporting our friends at Cambridge Wireless for next week’s “Future of Wireless International Conference” in London. If you are planning to attend and would like your views covered on TelecomTV, then please do get in touch with me via email or Twitter. I’ll be filming there for both days of the event, and we are looking to capture a range of views – the more controversial the better!

This year’s conference will look at how industry is planning to transform and build new business models to harness the ubiquitous wireless coverage that is fast approaching. The conference will focus on how technology is changing a number of industry segments, and in addition to the keynote sessions the conference will include vertical industry streams covering automotive, retail, industrial IoT, utilities, fintech, entertainment and healthcare.

Other activities at the event will include the Innovation Showcase (comprising collaborative IoT start-up teams), user experience and business model sessions. The conference includes the ‘Cambridge Debate’ facilitated by journalist and broadcaster Rory Cellan-Jones, who will bring together Cambridge entrepreneur David Cleevely and Jacqueline Davey of IBM.

The event is running alongside London Tech Week and hopes to bring together over 400 entrepreneurs and engineers from around the world, together with business and early-stage technology start-ups, to share their visions and enabling technologies for new markets, industries and business models. The event is organised by CW (Cambridge Wireless) – the leading international community for companies involved in the research, development and application of wireless and mobile technologies.

Tickets remain available for both days, and also for the dinner on the evening of June 21, which will be addressed by Paul Stein of Rolls Royce.

TelecomTV is not commercially affiliated with Cambridge Wireless, but we are delighted to support their event. I hope to see some of you there next week. Drop me a line and let’s see what we can arrange.
