Partnership brings the latest high-performance, secure and ‘smart’ wired and wireless networks to China

Beijing, China, May 16, 2018 — Ruckus Networks, an ARRIS company, today announced it has signed a partnership agreement with Ingram Micro (China) Limited. In this agreement, Ingram Micro China will distribute the full range of Ruckus Networks products in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), including wireless local area network (WLAN) controllers, indoor and outdoor access points (APs), ICX switches, secure access software, analytics and location software, as well as its IoT Suite.

The new partnership will enable both enterprise and service providers to deploy the latest high-performance, secure and intelligent enterprise wired and wireless network solutions. Together, both parties can further promote enterprise wired and wireless network solutions in the China market with their respective expertise in advanced technology, products and channel distribution.

This new agreement builds on an Asia Pacific regional distributor partnership signed in 2015.

"Ruckus Networks’ wired and wireless portfolio is a strong enhancement to our networking solutions offering in the China market,” said Mr. Shao Yanming, CEO of Ingram Micro China. “This new partnership extends our commitment to bring the latest technology available in the marketplace for our customers.”

“This new partnership with Ingram Micro China is an extension of our successful collaboration over the past two years in Southeast Asia,” said David Deng, general manager of China, Ruckus Networks. “We believe the extensive market coverage of Ingram Micro in China, together with its outstanding business and sales teams, will help Ruckus expand further into the enterprise market.”

As the world’s leading technology and supply chain services provider, Ingram Micro has been expanding its market presence and delivering value to its customers across the region. With its extensive sales and distribution network and a professional management team, Ingram Micro China has quickly developed into a strong distributor and industrial benchmark since entering the Chinese IT market in 1997.

With a vision to Realize the promises of Technology™, Ingram Micro works closely with thousands of vendors, resellers and retail partners by customizing and delivering highly targeted applications for industry verticals, business to business customers, and commercial needs.

According to the China Commercial Wi-Fi Industry Investment Analysis and Prospect Forecast Report for 2018-2022 published by CIConsulting, the Wi-Fi market in China is getting increasingly competitive, and improving the user experience has become mission-critical in the commercial market.[1] For the hospitality and educational markets, service providers and enterprises of all sizes, Wi-Fi-as-a-service is an essential offering to promote a ‘smarter’ workplace for staff and visitors.
