Ericsson and VMware announced a five-year alliance agreement during MWC that will help CSPs simplify and accelerate their journey to network virtualization. They will provide industry-leading experience for CSPs deploying and running a combination of software from Ericsson and VMware, enabling telco-grade services. They have also established a VNF Certification Lab to ensure best of breed industrialised software deployments and operational best practices, enabling increased efficiency and faster time to revenue for CSPs
The new agreement means a more in-depth collaboration to integrate, optimise and ensure interoperability at scale, ensuring rapid onboarding and deployment of VNFs, accelerating time to revenue and enabling CSPs to provide industry-leading experiences for their customers.
