Tony Poulos, TelecomTV (00:08):
Tony Poulos here at MWC 2026 with Wind River and with Davide Cherubini, who is a principal architect at Wind River. Davide, welcome. I would like to know more about sovereign cloud. Could you please give me some background?

Davide Cherubini, Wind River (00:23):
Sure, Tony. So think about the sovereign cloud challenges as treating the cloud as a critical national infrastructure where your data, your workload, your applications, your operations are under the same jurisdiction and control of a national country. So it's a very challenging environment where we have to address some of the challenges that our operators are asking to do. So one of these is of course, for sure, to be secure, to be in control. All your operations have to be managed by you as a customer and not by your provider, by your cloud provider. So what we do is in Wind River, we offer the Private Cloud Suite and the Private Cloud Suite delivers the foundation for sovereign cloud in an open, secure, and under control in an operations way. So open because it's based on open source, secure because we are compliant with the most great security requirements and regulations.

(01:26):
And we are self-contained and we can manage the operations because we can deliver, operate and maintain our clouds and our products in an air-gapped environment where you don't have any foreign control outside the environment of the operator. So this is in essence what the sovereign cloud challenges are. And we in Wind River, we for sure address this with our products.

Tony Poulos, TelecomTV (01:52):
Davide, thank you so much for giving me the background on sovereign cloud.

Davide Cherubini, Wind River (01:56):
Thank you, Tony.
