Ben Hickey, Chief Customer Officer, Lumina Networks

SDN has long enabled interfaces like Netconf and OpenFlow to program network elements. In this age of digital transformation, network unification and open source however, there is an urgent need to program the legacy interfaces along with the new programmable interfaces. We've asked the experts in open source networking to join us to discuss this - Ben Hickey, Chief Customer Officer for Lumina networks addresses how to extend the benefits of the OpenDaylight to legacy infrastructure. Ben highlights how Lumina's Tier-1 customers are simplifying legacy resource automation in support of the transformation journey to 5G deployments and DevOps principles.
