Andy Kennedy, Network Virtualisation Platform Engineer at VMware

VMware announced its vCloud for NFV platform with integrated OpenStack at Mobile World Congress this year and is expecting great things from the initiative. Andy tells Martyn Warwick that OpenStack will mature and be ready to provide the crucial carrier grade service level agreements by 2016. It will act as the 'consumption model' running on top of the NFVI (Network Functions Virtualisation Infrastructure) layer which VMware will be playing a major role in providing, he claims.

Filmed at: MPLS & SDN World Congress 2015, Paris.
