The ONF manages the OpenFlow protocol but its charter go well beyond that, Curt tells Martyn Warwick. As well as being the chief technology architect at Brocade, Curt is chairman of the ONF's Fowarding Abstractions Working Group, which has created a language for developing device models for OpenFlow. That's a critical capability for the development of SDN/NFV going forward. He explains all.
