NTT Data creates $30bn IT services powerhouse (NTT DATA, Inc.)

Tokyo – NTT Corporation and NTT Data Corporation finalised the creation of NTT Data, Inc. and formally launched their combined international business to accelerate clients' IT modernisation and digital transformations. This consolidation creates an IT services powerhouse with total revenues of approximately USD$30bn. Revenue of USD$18bn is generated outside Japan by a team of 140,000 professionals serving clients in more than 80 countries.

NTT DATA, Inc. is headed by Kazuhiro "Kaz" Nishihata, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience leading international businesses, including NTT Data Global Business Sector, NTT Global Networking, and European business.

"NTT has been a long-time strategic partner for City of Las Vegas helping us with our ongoing digital transformation efforts with the deployment of NTT Smart Solutions in 2017 to assist us in better serving our citizens, communities, and businesses," said Michael Sherwood, chief innovation officer for City of Las Vegas. "We are excited to continue our partnership by expanding on the capabilities and offerings across all of the new NTT Data, Inc., highlighted by working with us on a cloud migration and private network project to create even more opportunities for businesses, government and educational institutions."

NTT has grown its international business by more than 20 percent CAGR since 2007. NTT Data, Inc. represents an unmatched range of business and technology consulting, industry solutions, application and digital services, edge-to-cloud infrastructure, BPO, systems integration, and global datacentres.
