The CMS organization within HPE comprises around 5,000 people across the globe providing software support and services to telecoms operators, partnering in areas such as operational support systems, BSS systems and fraud analytics. It also has expertise in service orchestration, helping CSPs to introduce services faster into the market. When it comes to 5G roll-out, some telcos are looking to adopt a cloud native and open approach. HPE can help with infrastructure, providing it on a consumption-based model. On top of that, CMS can then provide software and services including some of the network functions that an operator would need to deploy 5G in a cloud native environment.
