Ooredoo Kuwait signs a strategic partnership with cybersecurity SaaS provider Z Services

Via Ooredoo Media Centre

Mar 25, 2019

KUWAIT CITY – KUWAIT: Ooredoo Kuwait announced today a strategic agreement with Z Services who is representing Z Scaler in the region, to bring in-country SaaS security services. This partnership will bring to Kuwait’s enterprises the industry’s broadest and deepest cloud-based and telco-delivered security solutions portfolio, thus enabling customers to build strategy for cybersecurity without the need for up-front infrastructure costs associated with on premise security deployments.

Amine Tazi, Chief Strategy Officer at Ooredoo Kuwait, said: “We are happy to announce our strategic partnership with Z Services and become the first and only operator in Kuwait to provide easy-to-use and high standard cybersecurity services.

Cybersecurity is an increasingly growing business risk; by leveraging Z Services leading security solutions, we will help our customers to secure their data and users through its in-country, multi-tenant cloud security architecture that includes web, email, cloud application, unified access management, incident response and endpoint security-as-a-service. This is a new milestone for Ooredoo’s digital transformation journey and towards delivering our mission of becoming the one-stop-shop provider for our customers.”

Saed Sakran, Regional Sales Director, Z Services, said: “Cyber Security threats are constantly evolving; sophisticated attacks such as ransomware, malware, and phishing have placed the assets and data of corporations and enterprises at a high risk. At Z Services, we are committed to make it easy for organizations to access the world’s most innovative security technologies through their trusted national service provider and it is precisely for this reason that we have made our commitment official via our partnership with Ooredoo Kuwait.

We are thrilled to join forces with Ooredoo Kuwait and looking forward to further build on this partnership by leveraging our innovative security solutions portfolio to Kuwait’s leading enterprises and bringing them one step closer to New Kuwait 2035 Vision strategy.”
