Charlie says Wind River is seeing real NFV traction in virtual customer premises equipment (CPE). As regards hardening standards, he thinks the OPNFV work may hold the key as the de facto standard that everyone has to test against and be interoperable against. But mostly what operators want to see is not adherence to paper standards but interoperability between solutions from multiple vendors.
