NFV is a huge leap for the industry and takes time to work its way though, maintains Ashiq Khan. We’re now at the ‘intermediate’ stage in the process where things like network slicing can be delivered, he says. The NFV movement started out with an eye on costs but thanks to software-driven things like network slicing it’s now arming itself to support the verticals.
