Panel Discussion

SD-WAN is contentious and while some sections of the industry are rushing to deploy the new technology, many traditional telcos fear that it  could prove to be so disruptive as to be an existential threat to their entire livelihoods. For example Telefonica of Spain has calculated that SD- WAN might put US$1 billion of their revenues at risk! Furthermore, if and when SD-WAN is deployed there is considerable complexity to manage. What is needed is an SD-MANO solution which may, like the Yeti, or may not exist..
