LONDON, UK— March 13, 2019 – TM Forum, the global not-for-profit association focused on digital transformation, announced today that 50 new companies joined the Forum in recent months. New members have joined from around the globe including Pinplay from South Korea, The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai, Vodafone from Turkey to the Steward Bank from Zimbabwe, Science Applications International Corporation from USA and Equatorial Telecom from Brazil.
One of the new members is ARRIS Solutions, Inc. – a global leader in entertainment, communications and networking technology, with over 5000 patents and about $7 bn in annual revenue. On joining the Forum Kevin Wirick, Vice President and GM at ARRIS Network Intelligence and Automation said, “Joining TM Forum offers ARRIS an opportunity to collaborate with some of the world’s largest communications companies. As a leader in helping global service providers streamline operations, introduce cloud native platforms and accelerate their digital journey to open networks, we value environments like TM Forum that enable collective problem-solving to drive the industry forward.”
Nuevatel PCS de Bolivia is one of the communication service providers that joined the Forum recently. When asked why they decided to join, Network Engineering Manager – Gabriel Enrique Ordóñez Hernández said “Joining the TM Forum helps us move forward on our journey of digital transformation. Our network intelligence process requires us to improve data analytics to move our network planning and operation to the next level, putting our customer at the center of our efforts. TM Forum allows us to share experiences and keep innovating based on a global perspective in AI Telecom applications.”
Another new member is Aesopia, a South Africa based consulting company providing technical implementation and training services in the telecommunications and IT industries. Edwell Dombodzvuku, Director of Aesopia said, “We are happy to be part of the TM Forum community and to be joining various initiatives that are part of the evolution of the CSP sector. We are taking the opportunity to collaborate with other members, and to utilize the rich resources and training available at TM Forum in our quest to guide our customers to sustainable success in this space.”
