Ericsson has announced new collaborations with King’s College London and Technische Universität Dresden. We spoke to Ericsson's Christian Hoymann, who is also the 3GPP RAN Technical Coordinator, for more details of the joint work. Experimental activities with King’s College will include the set-up of a 5G Tactile Internet Lab with test bed capabilities, and TU Dresden’s 5G Lab Germany will test low-latency and ultra-high reliability communication for critical use cases.
