ETSI's deep involvement in the origination and evolution of NFV continues with momentum unabated. What began in 2013 continues apace as the organisation transitions from the termination from a second two-year phase of the development of the technology and standards of NFV into a third phase which will last to the end of 2017 and beyond. This time around ETSI will focus on an increased scrutiny of the scope of the remaining work that needs to be completed before NFV becomes a complete, fully-defined, fully-rounded and fully-implementable technology
