Colt is a huge NFV enthusiast but, Nicholas tells Martyn Warwick, the sheer number of startups and established vendors moving into the [SDN/NFV] space is making network operator life difficult. How do we select the next vendors and the right technologies we want to play with? he asks. Even though Colt has a lot of resources, says Nicholas, it's impossible to keep up “so we are trying to be selective. We're at a point where we have to simplify again.”
