Chef’s garden partners with Verizon to maximize crop growth
The Chef’s Garden is a sustainable family farm in Huron, Ohio, that has been committed to providing the best quality specialty and heirloom vegetables, herbs and microgreens to the nation’s most discerning chefs for over 30 years.
After experiencing challenges with irrigation management and the impact of the current drought on their water cost, they began using Verizon’s irrigation management solution on a portion of their farm. This technology has allowed The Chef’s Garden to have greater insight into factors that could impact the overall quality of the harvest.
