Pioneers Ventures, a venture capital branch of Pioneers.io, has announced that it will invest 250,000 EUR into Vienna based Smart Parking start-up Parkbob. With this investment, Parkbob will be able to push forward its parking lot finding function, which will be launched this April.

Furthermore, Parkbob will expand its parking information system from eight to 25 European cities. The "Vienna edition" is already available on iPhone and Android.

Parkbob is a Smart Parking Service, solving parking lot problems in cities. By combining geo-information systems, a parking set of rules and real time information, the "last mile" of navigation is being solved. The start-up was founded in 2015 and is part of the A1 Start-up Campus.

With the A1 Start-up Campus, A1, the Austrian subsidiary of Telekom Austria Group, supports innovative newcomers on the market: besides a free of charge office location, A1 also offers the whole range of A1 business products. On top, 40 experts from different departments of the company support the A1 start-up companies with expertise, knowledge and know-how.
