M2M Summit 2015: From Internet of Things to Internet of Everything

Via M2M Alliance

M2M Summit 2015 gets manufacturers and users talking
Key International Speakers - M2M Summit 2015 offers a comprehensive program

The topic of this year’s M2M Summit will be "Smart Connect – The Fascination of IoT" highlighting the benefits of today's M2M/IoT solutions for businesses and end users. For the 9th Edition of this event, the M2M Alliance will bring together key international speakers to present and discuss the latest developments in the fields of M2M, Internet of Things and Industry 4.0. The Summit will take place September 8 -9 at the Congress Center Dusseldorf. In total over 60 exhibitors and more than 1,000 participants from 30 countries are expected to attend.

Wide range of issues

Machine-to-machine communication and the Internet of Things have evolved rapidly in recent years. From complicated technical solutions targeted to only a few in the beginning, this platform has transformed into a diversified mass market providing ideal conditions for optimizing processes for many companies and end-users alike.

With internationally renowned experts, among other, such as Bettina Traatz-Ryan (Gartner Inc.), Graham Trickey (GSMA), and Jürgen Hase (Ooredoo Group), the M2M Alliance has secured a number of high profile top speakers who will present the latest trends and opportunities at the M2M Summit. Many subject areas such as intelligent energy management, consumer application and wearables, connected cars and data analytics, and many of the numerous aspects and advantages of M2M communication, will be addressed and analyzed.

Platform for direct exchange

"At the M2M Summit we want providers and end users to have the opportunity to directly exchange with each other," said Eric Schneider, the first chairman of the M2M Alliance. “Only through a direct exchange will companies be better positioned to understand what is already possible today and how to use these solutions for themselves. Manufacturers and developers will gain a better sense of what end users really need as well as how to manage these specific needs."

On both days of the event, several thought-provoking panel discussions will be held. The focus will be on the EU – Market and Politics, Big Data, Utilities and M&A transactions in the M2M sector. For those interested, information sessions will also be offered, where participants can quickly catch up on what is already possible today. Here, a look at the future of the Internet of Things (IoT) and the benefits of M2M in the Industry 4.0 will also be included. The evening event on September 8th provides an excellent opportunity for other exchanges.

Due to the many international participants, the entire event will again be held in English. Last year, the M2M Summit set a new record for visitors and exhibitors. With around 1,000 registered attendees and over 60 exhibitors, the M2M Summit has established itself as the premier M2M/IoT event in Europe. These figures are likely to be exceeded this year.
