NTT sees DPDK as the route to enabling new NFV software switches and routing systems

Japanese telco NTT believes DPDK is a better library tool to help accelerate software switches and routing systems. It allow a programmer to access faster processing techniques. High performance software switches are necessary to support the NFV instances, as existing switches cannot handle the speeds required.
