François-Frédéric Ozog, Vice President of Business Development, 6Wind
The concept of virtual switch "acceleration" is integral to performance improvement in NFV, however it is a common misconception that to be fully effective acceleration requires direct access from VNFs to hardware. But, as Francois-Frederic Ozog explains, it ain't necessarily so. He also reveals an entirely new concept in network traffic control that is being developed now and will feature strongly as a subject in future at ETSI NFV gatherings.
