Verizon Advantage

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge + and Note5 will be the 5th and 6th devices in Verizon’s portfolio to support LTE Multicast. The technology is the most efficient mechanism to distribute the same content to many users, and as a result, customers can see high-quality, always-on video without lag time or delay. For example, sports leagues could provide additional or exclusive content to their fans who attend live events, enriching their experience at a venue. Multicast content will be available later this year.

The smartphones will be the 22nd and 23rd smartphones in Verizon’s line up to support Advanced Calling. That means when you call another compatible smartphone you get HD voice quality on the call and can also start a video call right from the screen with just a tap.

Having a reliable network makes a difference when it comes to features and apps on smartphones. Photos should be simple to upload -- and you can’t get retweets if a tweet never got posted. With an increased 4GB of RAM, Samsung’s smartphones allow you to enjoy more seamless multi-tasking and post updates to social networks faster. Additionally, both have a built-in camera feature that lets you take live video and broadcast it to anyone via YouTube, letting friends see the video exactly as you’re seeing it. Having coverage and speed matters when you’re trying to share your life’s moments with others.

Both devices have large Quad HD Super AMOLED screens, so you can immerse yourself in the content you love – movies, games, photos, Vines, Snaps, and the rest of your social world. Combining that screen with Verizon’s 4G LTE translates to less time spent “buffering” and more time watching. “Buffering” isn’t pretty, even in HD.

Samsung Galaxy S6 edge +

You’ll never miss a moment with the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge +, a multimedia powerhouse. Enjoy movies, games and photos more than ever on the large 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with dual edge screens. The edge acts as a shortcut from any screen to your top contacts and apps, making it simple to access what matters most to you.

The Galaxy S6 edge + also supports Ultra High Quality Audio (UHQ) using breakthrough upscaling technology that takes low-quality music and videos and makes details sound richer.

Samsung Note 5

Increase your productivity with the redesigned Samsung Galaxy Note5 featuring the newly-refined S Pen. The built-in S Pen – built to be more solid and balanced in a user’s hand – helps you do things more precisely. Jot down a quick note or phone number, even without waking up the Note5. Annotate a document, and then share it with a colleague, or capture full webpages and images at [once via ‘scroll capture.’

The smartphone also works effortlessly with most personal computers thanks to SideSync 4.0, which the devices have been upgraded to support. This offers both wireless and wired PC-smartphone integration for seamless interaction across devices. Quickly drag and drop photos and documents between devices, and even respond to a text or answer a call from your smartphone directly on your laptop.

Accessories

Similar to your other personal possessions, you want to keep them safe and protected when you can. The same goes for smartphones. When you purchase that brand new smartphone, you’ll have a variety of cases to choose from such as Kate Spade New York Wrap Case ($54.99), OtterBox Commuter Series ($44.99), Tech21 Evo Wallet ($49.99), Incipio DualPro ($29.99), and more.

Promotions

Looking at your phone and thinking it’s time for an upgrade? For a limited time, trade in any smartphone and get a minimum $200 when purchasing a new Samsung Galaxy S6 edge + or Note5. Trade-in must be in good working condition. Additionally for a limited time, bring your number to Verizon and get a $100 bill credit within 2-3 bill cycles for each new smartphone purchased and activated.
