Istvan Lajtos, 5G Projects Director, AWTG

Advanced Wireless Technology Group (AWTG) has spent 12 years assisting wireless service providers in planning, operating, and optimising their networks. Most recently, of course, with 5G for which it has developed a modeling tool for operators and their partners to enable them to develop their plans,
Martin Warwick talks with Istvan Lajtos, 5G Projects Director at AWTG, about  taking 5G indoors to serve industry. According to Istvan the biggest challenge is to  develop systems with the features industry requires around high reliability, high throughput and low latencies in challenging radio environments where machines are often sequestered within Faraday Cages. That’s where AWTG comes in - it offers small, medium and large companies the ability  to test their 5G products and services on AWTG’s  true 5G network.
