Intel’s Asha Keddy joins CTIA board

WASHINGTON – CTIA®, announced that Asha Keddy, Intel Vice President and General Manager of Next Generation and Standards (NGS), joined CTIA’s Board of Directors effective immediately.

Intel is a long-standing CTIA member and plays a key role in virtually every segment of the smart, connected world – from the cloud to the network and the device. As a global leader in innovation and next-generation networks, Intel is developing technologies to support 5G deployments and use cases worldwide.

“I’m excited to welcome Asha to the CTIA Board,” said CTIA President and CEO Meredith Attwell Baker. “Intel is a valued CTIA member working at the forefront of 5G innovation. We look forward to working with Asha on ways to advance next-generation 5G networks and unleash their full potential for businesses and consumers.”

Keddy is a recognized industry leader, with a team that uses a combination of products, trials, prototypes, global standards, industry consortia, and work across homes, cities and enterprises to drive new business verticals. In collaboration with industry partners, the group facilitates trials and business development to support use cases as well as engagement in government and policy advocacy to deliver highly innovative capabilities.
