Ericsson appoints Christian Leon as new head of customer unit for France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Algeria & Tunisia and Global Customer Unit Orange

As of 8 June 2023, Christian Leon will take over the position of Head of Customer Unit France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Algeria & Tunisia and Global Customer Unit Orange for Ericsson – in addition to his role as Managing Director of Ericsson France. He is based in Paris.

He will succeed Franck Bouetard who has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities outside the Ericsson group. Franck and Christian will work closely together to ensure a smooth transition.

Christian Leon has been with Ericsson for 13 years. He has spent a large part of his career in the USA & Sweden in various Technological & Sales positions.

His key focus areas will be the delivery of our strategic plan, driving the deployment of 5G connectivity for enterprise & consumers, and the continued development of Ericsson’s R&D center in France.

Christian Leon graduated from l’Ecole supérieure d’Electricité (Supelec) in 1998. Christian served as navigation officer in the French navy.

The five countries he will lead are home to over 1500 employees who support some of Ericsson’s key customers.
