ZTE presents new-generation unified communications and collaboration solution at GITEX 2015

20 October 2015, Shenzhen, China -€“ ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, today launched its unified communications and collaboration solution (UC&C) '€œMOA+'€ at GITEX, a global event for communications electronics held in Dubai. The MOA+ provides an integrated, efficient, and convenient communications and collaboration solution for enterprises.

With the wide use of smart terminals and rapid development of the 4G network, enterprises'€™ requirements for obtaining, communicating, and processing information from the mobile network have significantly increased. ZTE's mobile office collaboration product integrates data, voice, and video technologies to help enterprises realise highly-efficient internal and external communication and collaboration, as well as improving operational efficiency.

The ZTE MOA+ video/audio-integrated communication platform uses the cloud deployment method, provides scalable services and reduces costs. It not only provides complete UC&C functions, but can integrate with existing enterprise business processes to enable a mobile office and improved efficiency. By using the MOA+ client which supports all types of terminal devices, employees can obtain a consistent user experience so they can transfer information such as the latest market news, competitor information, and customer requests conveniently or transfer the company'€™s latest designs and solutions to its customers.

The unified communications and collaboration enterprise-to-enterprise (E2E) solution is based on the new-generation platform launched at GITEX, composed of the TrueMeet cloud conferencing platform, full-series intelligent video conferencing terminals, and mobile and desktop app. It not only meets the various needs of different enterprise users but can also be used by operators and service providers for operation resale business. The Cloud Conferencing Manager (CCM1000) is a new pure-software multipoint control unit (MCU) product which supports high definition (HD), large capacity, high expandability, distributed and VM( virtual machine ) deployment. The CCM1000 can be selected, deployed, and used flexibly by businesses of all sizes including multinational corporations all the way to small to medium enterprises (SME).

The terminal '€“ ET series '€“ provides next-generation smart terminal products in the ZTE video conferencing product series. Thanks to the open platform, the ET terminal is embedded with a whiteboard, office file reader and integrates with a number of third party applications. With Wi-Fi access functions, the ET series are the best for SME customers. In addition, the VT100 mobile/desktop client product supports Android, iOS, and Windows systems, and allows users to communicate freely at any time anywhere.

According to the SpotCheck Group Video Conferencing Q1 2015 report published by Wainhouse Research, an authoritative third-party analyst house in the global video communication field, ZTE’s video conferencing products account for 13 percent of the global video conferencing market, which makes ZTE one of the top three in the industry for the third consecutive year.
