Stream expands LoRa team

With increasing levels of interest focussed on Stream’s IoT-X platform and services which enable customers to successfully deploy LoRa networks, Stream continues to expand their LoRa team.

As part of the company’s commitment to accelerating the growth and adoption of LoRa, Stream simplify the process for customers deploying LoRa-based networks and solutions. The IoT-X connectivity management platform is fully integrated with Stream’s LoRaWAN network server and data routing infrastructure.

Stream support customers through a range of services, including network planning resources, technical support, advising on compatibility with partner products, free POC and a scalable business model. Stream’s expertise assists customers along every step of their LoRa journey, including advice and guidance from RF engineers, customer service, technical support, business development and partnerships.

Our world-class team includes Karina Maksimiuk , appointed in LoRa business development. Karina works with Stream’s LoRa customers to understand their requirements. Karina brings her experience in IoT to assist customers in deploying scalable and commercial LoRa-based networks via our IoT-X platform. Karina Maksimiuk

Stream’s continually expanding ecosystem of partners includes LoRa hardware manufactures (end-devices and gateways), application providers (data visualisation) and solutions providers. Our recent ecosystem members include Laird, who have pre-configured their new LoRa gateway range to be compatible with Stream’s LoRaWAN network server.

Enabling Deployment of LoRa Networks

Stream’s IoT-X platform is enabling an increasing number LoRaWAN network deployments including:

  • Tier One Telco deployments through our partners Jersey Telecom.
  • City-wide networks through our partners Pinacl Solutions. Pinacl are launching a number of LoRaWAN networks around the UK, including Newport.
  • HIE University Inverness campus LoRa network demonstrator.
  • Incubator networks through partners Sensor City and CENSIS. The purpose of these networks is to allow enterprises, academic institutions and start-ups realise their IoT ambitions.
