Highlights from TelecomTV's Telcos & Public Cloud Summit, April 2023
The Telcos and Public Cloud Summit returned on 19 and 20 April for a second year and took a further look at the evolving relationship between telcos and the hyperscale public cloud providers.
There is now an increasing acceptance and acknowledgement that telcos need the technology, services and reach of the hyperscalers, and that partnership deals are the best way forward. But how? And given the number of distinct operating units within telcos, each will have its own set of cloud requirements and risk/reward ratios.
This summit looked at the developing relationship between telcos and the public cloud, exploring the opportunities offered by, and the challenges of, partnerships.
