VMware’s Kit Beall will speak with Chet Patel, BT’s Director, commercial, indirect channels and the Americas, about the BT’s digital transformation into an agile organization offering the expertise and solutions customers are looking for.

Kit Beall
VP, Worldwide Telco Vertical Sales, VMware
Kit Beall is Vice President of Worldwide Telco/Service Provider sales at VMware, leading the largest sales vertical and the fastest growing sales team in the company. Kit and his team are focused on helping VMware customers transform their 4G networks and seamlessly transition to 5G while ensuring they also address the IT and B2B business needs of their customers.
Kit joined VMware through the acquisition of Uhana where he served as COO and SVP of Global Sales & Field Operations. Uhana’s revolutionary technology, now a part of the VMware Telco and Edge Cloud portfolio, enables mobile operators to revolutionize their 4G networks using AI and ML network solutions, creating the foundation for 5G networks of the future.
Previously, he spent 12 years at Cisco where he held several executive roles, including sales leadership for the $9B Global Service Provider segment, the Mobile Internet business, and as Managing Director for the Verizon relationship. Kit came to Cisco with the acquisition of Dynamicsoft, a pioneer in voice-over-IP and mobile solutions, where he ran worldwide sales.
Kit is a patent holder in VoIP technology and has held leadership roles in a range of innovative technology companies. He began his career at NeXT Computer, now a part of Apple.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Computer Science from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He currently resides in Colorado with his wife and three children.
Chet Patel
Director, Commercial, Indirect Channels and the Americas, BT
Chet is our chief commercial officer, managing director, global sales commercial, indirect channels and president, Americas. He reports to our CEO.
The commercial and indirect channels unit consists of key sales and sales support functions to provide globally consistent, customer-focused services to the sales teams in the vertical units.
Chet was previously president, global portfolio and marketing and was responsible for the products and services which support the company’s global growth plans and played an influential role with our largest global customers.
Chet has more than 20 years of experience in the telecoms and IT sectors.
