The complexity of integration could present an obstacle to wider Open RAN adoption, or at least adoption of systems from multiple vendors. Will operators still rely on their primary vendor partners to supply a de facto turnkey system? Will specialist integrators play a pivotal role? Or will operators look to do this work themselves?
