Stream Technologies' IoT-X Platform helps JT reach Global Clients

Via Stream Technologies

Jun 9, 2015

UK telecom innovator chooses improved flexibility, manageability and multi-network functionality to deliver the ultimate flexibility for IoT adopters in Jersey, Guernsey and beyond.

Stream Technologies, a global leader in connectivity solutions for the Internet of Things, today announced that JT, a leading Mobile Network Operator (MNO) in global roaming connectivity for machine-to-machine communications (M2M) and the Internet of Things (IoT) has chosen the Stream IoT-X connectivity enablement platform to provide multi-network roaming capabilities to its clientele worldwide.

IoT-X is being increasingly adopted by MNOs, Low Power Radio Network (LPRN) providers and global enterprise customers to help monitor, manage and monetize connected-device solutions. The platform and unique ecosystem of IoT-ready services help global enterprises and MNOs reduce time to market by enabling quick, easy deployment of products and solutions which have been pretested and proven on the Stream network.

Together, JT and Stream will support world-wide deployment using the same network, platform and infrastructure as well as full control over roaming profiles -- making it the perfect choice for global enterprise clients seeking deployment of services worldwide for M2M and IoT.

Global M2M & IoT clients will also benefit from the IoT-X multi-network capabilities which place JT roaming capabilities beside LPRN and Satellite connections, allowing customers to choose the ideal solution for their deployment, regardless of connection type or geography.

Paul Bullock of JT comments, "JT is proud to be a part of the Stream IoT-Xcelerate program. Stream Technologies has consistently proven their technical expertise in delivering managed connectivity solutions. JT and IoT-X is a best-of-breed solution for all enterprises looking to future proof their deployments and quickly take advantage of new technology."

"This is a truly winning collaboration, and the adoption by JT of IoT-X underpins the value that Stream's unique connectivity enablement and management platform brings to MNOs around the globe," said Nigel Chadwick CEO of Stream Technologies. "As Stream continues to integrate further services across cellular, satellite and specifically emerging low power radio technologies, IoT-X effectively future-proofs global connectivity options to enterprise clients, while third-party Software as a Service integrations within IoT-X offer all users and adopters of our platform optional choices delivered by our unique eco-system including device management and data exchange services."
