Follow every paw print with the new V-Pet Tracker

The new V-Pet Tracker from V by Vodafone makes it easy to keep track of your pet, even when they’re out of sight, as well as allowing you to keep up to speed on their health and well-being – thanks to V-Pet’s advanced fitness tracking.

For a £49.50 upfront cost (with free service for 12 months), the new V-Pet Tracker is a Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS tracker, which means that if your pet doesn’t come bounding back when you expect them to, an app on your smartphone allows you to see their whereabouts. Live tracking will give you an update on your pet’s location every three seconds, and it turns itself off after five minutes of not being used to avoid draining the battery.

V-Pet Tracker also monitors your pet’s day-to-day activity – from walking and running to sleeping and eating. The dashboard in the app will give you a daily overview of the calories they’ve burned, based on their breed, and you can then use this data to plan your pet’s diet, making sure they’re as healthy and as happy as they can be.

The Safe Zone and Virtual Leash features of V-Pet Tracker provide instant alerts if your pet moves out of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth range. And thanks to geofencing, the app will let you draw a virtual fence around a specific area on a map so that, if your pet moves beyond that designated area, you’ll receive an alert.

The V-Pet Tracker can withstand whatever is thrown its way, from rough and tumble play to wild weather walks. What’s more, it has up to 10 days of usable battery life, has the waterproof rating IP67 (which means it can be dropped into a body of water up to one metre deep for half an hour), and has a useful LED light which can be activated using the app. Come rain or shine, night or day, you can rest assured that the V-Pet Tracker has everything under control.

The V Pet Tracker is a new addition to the V by Vodafone range of devices, designed to help you keep track of the things that matter most – from your car, luggage and keys, to your home and other personal belongings.
