To help organizations transition to the cloud and manage a mix of cloud and on-premises applications, Oracle announced enhancements to Oracle Cloud Platform for Integration. A comprehensive suite of integration services, Oracle Cloud Platform for Integration enables organizations to accelerate innovation, increase productivity and lower costs by simplifying application and service integration across cloud and on-premises applications, mobile, and IoT devices.

The Oracle Cloud Platform for Integration portfolio includes Oracle IoT Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle SOA Cloud, and Oracle API Manager Cloud – a range of services developed for specific users’ integration needs. With its simple, intuitive Web-based, point-and-click user interface, the Oracle Integration Cloud is ideal for “citizen integrators,” Applications IT and LOBs integrating SaaS applications. On the other end of the spectrum, Oracle SOA Cloud was designed for integration developers and provides a full integration platform, including service virtualization, process orchestration, B2B integration, Managed File Transfer and business activity monitoring dashboards, with fine-grained control and the ability to support various use cases. Oracle’s integration cloud services are fully portable enabling users to migrate their integration workloads between on premises and the cloud to support changing business requirements.

Oracle Cloud Platform for Integration includes the following services:

• Oracle Internet of Things Cloud Service - Enables customers to securely connect to any device generating data, perform real-time and predictive analytics on device data and extend business processes within enterprise applications. With Oracle Internet of Things Cloud, users will be able to rapidly build IoT applications for preventive maintenance and asset tracking using pre-built integrations with Oracle PaaS, third-party and Oracle SaaS applications, including Oracle JD Edwards, Oracle E-Business Suite, and Oracle Fusion Applications.
• Oracle Integration Cloud Service - Simplifies integration between the cloud and on-premises Oracle and third-party applications. Innovative features, such as pre-built integrations and embedded best practice recommendations, provide an entirely new application integration experience. It includes new, pre-built adapters for social media, SaaS and on-premises integration, as well as an on-premises agent that allows a secure connection from the data center to the cloud. The Oracle Integration Cloud provides simple and intuitive application integration that combines business users’ ease-of-use requirements with the proven, mission-critical foundation of Oracle SOA Suite.
• Oracle SOA Cloud Service – Provides a comprehensive and unified cloud-based integration platform for rapid provisioning, simplified management, automated upgrades, support for hybrid integration, and the ability to easily scale out, enabling users to quickly develop and deploy integration projects to deliver innovative services faster. Oracle SOA Cloud offers new capabilities, including B2B integration and Managed File Transfer, with enterprise scheduler, business activity monitoring and event processing.
• Oracle API Manager Cloud Service – Provides a rich user experience that enables developers to create and expose APIs to internal or external consumers in a secure way to help develop innovative solutions for end users. Oracle API Manager Cloud helps organizations accelerate innovation by improving API visibility, making API management easy, and delivering API analytics.
