5G is not just about smartphones or consumer adoption, it’s also very much about enterprises and vertical markets. But the buying decisions within enterprises are made by CIOs who are more familiar with cloud services, so CSPs need to make their 5G pitch more like cloud and make it easy for enterprises to port their software development to the 5G platform. It comes down to using the right connectivity for the right job, and so latency and compute capabilities are key.
