Charlie talks to Martyn Warwick about the importance of 'carrier grade' as the NFV proposition evolves. It is, he says, about protecting carriers' revenue streams since much of their corporate business is predicated on the delivery of six nines reliability - without that carriers will lose money from SLA payments and churn. To that end HP and WindRiver have engineered the inclusion of software from WindRiver's Titanium Server in HP's Helion stack.
