For me NFV is the baseline for 5G, Marcus tells Guy Daniels. He sees an extremely close linkage between NFV and 5G - in fact between NFV and all the fixed and mobile access networks, he says. NFV allows for a horizontal approach - having an NFV baseline partner and functions for specific services built on top by other partners.
